Mr. Louis Schweitzer’s visit to Kyoto Technical Center
He was accompanied by Mr. Christian Masset (Ambassador of France to Japan), Mr. Charles-Henri Brosseau (Consul General of France at Kyoto), Ms. Florence Jeanblanc-Risler (Minister Counselor for Economic Affairs at the Embassy of France in Japan), Mr. Bertrand Fort (Cultural Counselor at the Embassy of France in Japan, Director of Institut Français du Japon) , Ms. Kaoruko Miyake (Interpreter) and visited laboratories at Kyoto Technical Center.
After general introduction of Arkema partnership with Japanese companies, they made lab tour including laser sintering machine which is one of the technologies of 3D printer. Arkema Specialty Polyamides powder is one of the key materials of this high technology.
Mr. Louis Schweitzer was Chairman and CEO of Renault from 1992 to 2005 and Chairman of the Board of Directors from 2005 to 2009. He is Honorary President since 2009. He notably led the IPO to public in 1994 and the privatization of Renault in 1996, concluded the Renault-Nissan alliance, forming a new entity the fourth largest of the automotive industry.
