Description
With Rilperm® multilayer fuel lines, Arkema customers can meet the most stringent automotive standards and specification requirements for fuel permeability, mechanical properties, and ageing resistance in increasingly demanding engine environments. Additionally, Rilperm® technology was developed for our customers to achieve optimum cost efficiency, in particular using high-speed extrusion and straightforward assembly. Furthermore, with the Rilperm® technology, Arkema can offer its customers access to a wide patent portfolio, e.g. Rilperm® conductive grades.

Arkema’s Rilperm® technology offers conductive and non-conductive lines and can be applied in straight and corrugated tubing.
Markets and applications
Arkema developed multilayer tubing structures for fuel line systems suitable for major automotive OEM specifications and requirements. This technology is marketed under the Rilperm® brand. All Rilperm® structures contain Rilsan® as a structural layer.
